Welcome to Pretty Young Thing. A blog owned by an 18 year old girl wanting to escape from the ordinary
and journeys to a portal to the girl world.

The Girl:
Ivanne is eighteen. A little girl who constantly lacks Potassium. Enjoys staring at the sky, is in love with photography, ribbons and headbands. Believes in the spirit of rock and roll,
Charlie the unicorn, Captain America (& his mighty shield) and the great power of vodka. This is where she blogs about fashion, make up & other mishaps.♥

Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 MEMO show
(Click image to enlarge)A big thank you to PFW's FB giveaway,
Mary & I got to watch Memo's show! Arrived at Mall of Asia around 3pm since my car was coding, bought my gift for Luisa's party on Saturday at Fully Booked. Then we headed for lunch at Sbarro.

MEMO's show was scheduled at 7:30pm so there was a lot of time to kill. Being the girls that we are, we landed upon Marionnaud, where MAC was being sold. Taking of photos aren't allowed at the store, but couldn't resist not too!

Heaven on earth! The night before I was already ready with a long list of shades to buy. Only to find out nothing in my list was available. From Rubywoo to Vegas Volt, nothing was there. :( I was supposed to settle for a nude shade, though I was completely un-happy with the color. Then I found myself ogling over Viva Glam IV, not disappointed with my purchase!

It was my second time to attend one of PFW's shows, the first one I watched was I fail. I wore a little black dress and VNC wedges when I got to SMX people were just so gorgeous & I felt so under dressed. Haha! Second time's the charm! A girl even approached me and asked where I got my hat (first time in my life)!

(Hat: Forever 21) (Vest: ZARA) (Dress: Genevieve Gozum) (Belt: Greenhills) (Bag: ZARA's TRF) (Heels: Primadonna) (Bracelets: Forever 21)
Now for my gorgeous friend,
Mary's outfit!

(Dress: ZARA) (Heels: Forever 21) (Bag: MANGO)

To be honest, I never knew MEMO's style until the show. *shot* And I must say, the clothes were quite impressive. The line caters to the young professionals and gives out that vibe
"I can still look mature & sophisticated while being fashionable". Mary and I were truly at awe by the show, the sounds, make up, styling and even the long long long cat walk was polished. As a matter of fact we kept saying "
pagnagkatrabaho na ko, alam ko na kung saan ako bibili ng damit for office". The hot male models were a plus! What a wonderful show! Spotted Kirsten Rice & Vicky Herrera on our way out. :) If your into fashion, a PFW experience is a must! Will definitely change your whole perspective on Philippine talent!
P.S
Will try to do an amateur review on Viva Glam IV soon!
P.P.S
Just found out that Mom had a friend who works for Golden ABC
(MEMO, Penshoppe, ForMe & etc). Oh well, Summer 2011 collection nalang!
