This just in: MAC collection Surf Baby

They gave us Wonder Woman & Quite Cute for Spring, now they're giving us Surf Baby for the summer! Found out from Temptalia.com about MAC's new collection. Summer's almost here, but it's just about to begin over there! So much for stacking up on bronzers and lipbalms with SPF 20.

Hibiscus: Bright orange coral (Cremesheen) (Limited Edition)
Mocha: Peachy yellow-brown (Satin) (Permanent)
Naturally Eccentric: Creamy white nude (Lustre) (Limited Edition)

I'm totally gunning for the Hibiscus & Mocha!

Suntints SPF 20 Liquid Lip Balms:

Full of Grace: Soft sheer rose (Limited Edition)
Pink Tinge: Clean bright yellow pink with gold pearl (Limited Edition)
Lilt of Lily: Soft creamy pale pink (Limited Edition)

Guess what's in the box?

Guess what's in the box?

I was suppose to go to Luisa's debut last Saturday but due to the horrifying traffic at Marcos going to Masinag/Antipolo. Mom didn't let me go, but instead we went out for a family dinner at Eastwood. Which was really a blessing in disguise. My Godfather during baptismal came home & gave me the privilege to pick any shoe I want under a P1,000 budget. He wasn't able to give me enough gifts during my birthdays and Christmas since after he became my godparent so this was his way of repaying his old debts. Haha! Surprisingly, nothing in VNC, Celine and Charles & Keith caught my eye. But found the perfect shoes at Wade instead!

Wooden heels in Apricot

Wedges in Beige

Couldn't decide between the wooden heels or wedges! Luckily, my Uncle had a new credit card and decided to give it a try. Thus, he bought the wedges for me and the heels were bought by my godfather. Omg, and both shoes were on sale. Couldn't get any better! ♥

Amateur Review: MAC Viva Glam IV

If you ask me before what my top ten must haves for MAC lipsticks is, Viva Glam IV wouldn't be in it. I wasn't really into glittery/shimmery lipsticks since I didn't see the point in it. You can get the shimmer and glitter from lip glosses right?

That's what I thought, until I tried Viva Glam IV. The old rose with a hint of plum is a gorgeous color balanced with a dash of shimmer to it. The color's not too dark and not the kind that will make you look old. I love how you don't have to re-apply too much and it doesn't clump after a while. Though, cause of it's creamy-ness you have to be extra careful not to drop it! I dropped mine, look at the results. :(

Note to self: be extremely careful with your lipsticks. Oh by the way, every time you purchase a Viva Glam lipstick a part of it goes to AIDS fund. Helping out while being glamorous! ♥

Over all rating: ♥♥♥♥/5 (I would most definitely buy a tube again!)

P.S
This is an amateur review,
meaning all are from my point of view.
I'm not an expert make up artist or
make up guru. Just a happy shopper! ♥

Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 MEMO show

A big thank you to PFW's FB giveaway, Mary & I got to watch Memo's show! Arrived at Mall of Asia around 3pm since my car was coding, bought my gift for Luisa's party on Saturday at Fully Booked. Then we headed for lunch at Sbarro.

MEMO's show was scheduled at 7:30pm so there was a lot of time to kill. Being the girls that we are, we landed upon Marionnaud, where MAC was being sold. Taking of photos aren't allowed at the store, but couldn't resist not too!

Heaven on earth! The night before I was already ready with a long list of shades to buy. Only to find out nothing in my list was available. From Rubywoo to Vegas Volt, nothing was there. :( I was supposed to settle for a nude shade, though I was completely un-happy with the color. Then I found myself ogling over Viva Glam IV, not disappointed with my purchase!

It was my second time to attend one of PFW's shows, the first one I watched was I fail. I wore a little black dress and VNC wedges when I got to SMX people were just so gorgeous & I felt so under dressed. Haha! Second time's the charm! A girl even approached me and asked where I got my hat (first time in my life)!

(Hat: Forever 21) (Vest: ZARA) (Dress: Genevieve Gozum) (Belt: Greenhills) (Bag: ZARA's TRF) (Heels: Primadonna) (Bracelets: Forever 21)

Now for my gorgeous friend, Mary's outfit!

(Dress: ZARA) (Heels: Forever 21) (Bag: MANGO)

To be honest, I never knew MEMO's style until the show. *shot* And I must say, the clothes were quite impressive. The line caters to the young professionals and gives out that vibe "I can still look mature & sophisticated while being fashionable". Mary and I were truly at awe by the show, the sounds, make up, styling and even the long long long cat walk was polished. As a matter of fact we kept saying "pagnagkatrabaho na ko, alam ko na kung saan ako bibili ng damit for office". The hot male models were a plus! What a wonderful show! Spotted Kirsten Rice & Vicky Herrera on our way out. :) If your into fashion, a PFW experience is a must! Will definitely change your whole perspective on Philippine talent!

P.S
Will try to do an amateur review on Viva Glam IV soon!

P.P.S
Just found out that Mom had a friend who works for Golden ABC
(MEMO, Penshoppe, ForMe & etc). Oh well, Summer 2011 collection nalang!
